The World Ayurveda Congress (WAC) serves as a prominent platform established by the World Ayurveda Foundation to promote the global dissemination of Ayurveda in its authentic form. Since its inception in 2002 in Kochi, Kerala, WAC has grown to become the largest gathering in its field, attracting enthusiastic participation from the global community. It facilitates the exchange of scientific knowledge between modern science and traditional medicinal systems, fostering new frontiers in healthcare.

Under the leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi, the announcement of a dedicated ministry for Ayush followed his attendance at the 6th WAC valedictory function, a long-standing aspiration of the AYUSH community. WAC's influence spans across policy, public health, trade, and science, enhancing global outreach for societal benefit. The congress has significantly impacted over a million individuals through its AROGYA expos, consistently surpassing delegate expectations in each edition.

Through its Nine World Congresses on Ayurveda, WAC has sparked immense interest in Ayurveda across 56 countries, contributing to its acceptance and integration into the global community.

The World Ayurveda Foundation have decided to hold the 10th edition of WAC and Arogya Expo in Dehradun from 12th December 2024 to 15th December 2024.
