Introduction:

We are excited to announce a One-Day Sensitization Programme on Ayurveda Training Accreditation, organized by the Ayurveda Training Accreditation Board (ATAB) and the Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (National Academy of Ayurveda), under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. This event is a significant step towards enhancing the quality and standardization of Ayurveda education in India.

Salient Features of the Event:

1. Accreditation of Ayurveda Training Courses:

   • The event aims to provide accreditation to short-term Ayurveda courses as per the Gazette notification of December 2019.

   • Both Indian and international short-term Ayurveda courses that are outside the scope of the NCISM Act 2020 (previously the IMCC Act, 1970) will be considered.

2. Standards and Process of Accreditation:

   • Participants will gain knowledge about ATAB standards and the accreditation process.

   • Learn the prerequisites and requirements for obtaining accreditation for Ayurveda courses.

3. Importance of Quality and Standardization:

   • Discuss the significance of quality and standardization in Ayurveda courses and their relevance in the current era.

   • Understand how ATAB accreditation ensures that institutions demonstrate accountability, excellence, and continuous quality improvement.
